Sports
Sport plays an important part in the co-curricular life of students at Celebration Internation School and all students are expected to participate in sport throughout their time at Celebration Internation School. All coaches are qualified in their respective sport and, where possible, students will be placed in a team that reflects their ability level.

Congratulations to Ropa Masengere & Joel Gray for both being silver medallists in discus and shot respectively at the NASH Interprovincial Competition at Lomagundi College.
The boys then participated in the COSSASA competition against Zambia, Malawi, Botswana and Namibia. Ropa came 4th with a personal best of 40.1m in discuss and Joel came 4th with a personal best of 14.14m in shotput. Congratulations to both boys for representing CIS and Zimbabwe. Well done to Mr Chauke.
A total of 50 athletes, 37 of whom were from Celebration International School, travelled to Sasolburg, South Africa to participate in the Southern African Christian Schools Sporting Association (SACSSA) Athletics Meet. They were chaperoned by Mrs. Gray, Mr. Chauke, Mrs. Mutseyekwa and Miss. Rutendo.
This year’s SACSSA team was definitely something to write home about. Some of the participants would say it was intense, but most of them returned victorious. From tears, to giggles, it was a really memorable experience. Celebration International School received a jaw-dropping amount of thirty medals whilst Zimbabwe as a whole got even more! It was truly a wonderful event for all.
